Kathryn Hays (July 26, 1934 – March 25, 2022) was an American actress best remembered for playing Kim Hughes on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns from 1972 to 2010.
Kay Piper, the only child of Roger and Daisy (Hays) Piper, was born on July 26, 1934, in Princeton, Illinois. Hays was reared by her mother, a bookkeeper, and banker, and her stepfather, salesman Arnold Gottlieb when her parents split shortly after her birth.
